We are a mother/daughter team that live on a ten acre farm in Yuma, AZ. The mother part of this team has had dogs her entire life and has subsequently had several breeds over the years. In the early years she raised and raced Siberian Huskies in Washington state under the kennel name "AL-CO". In the 1980's and 90's we raised Miniature Pinchers here in Arizona under Good News Farm / GNF. We both have Doxies, Colleen has a couple of Papillons, and April has a few Chihuahuas. There will be a litter of pups from time to time. We raise goats so the dogs are around them and several other farm animals.
Nisue was the first Doxie we brought home and we could not be more pleased with her. She helps us move the goats without chasing them and for the most part she leaves the chickens alone, the mice are free game though.
We both have always loved critters and it is easy to enjoy more then one breed of dog / goat / hamster :-) Each of our critters looks to one person even though we are on the same property.
